TIMOTEO AND MARY (DAISY) VIGIL Timoteo and Mary (Daisy) Vigil have gone to be with the Lord. Timoteo was born November 5, 1927 in Vegita, New Mexico and passed away December 24, 2013. Daisy was born February 7, 1932 in Jarales, New Mexico and passed away December 26, 2013. They were married May 29, 1954 in Belen, New Mexico, celebrating 60 years together, and have been residents of Barstow for 56 years. Timoteo served in the US Air Force for 5 years and was stationed in Korea during that time. He and Mary worked at MCLB Barstow, he as a heavy duty mechanic for 25 years, her as a quality assurance specialist for 30 years. Timoteo and Mary were members of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and were active in the Los Colores group through the church. They also helped many charities over the years, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. They are predeceased by their son, Raymond Vigil; their parents and many siblings. Surviving Timoteo and Mary is their daughter, Edna Vigil; several siblings and many nieces, nephews and friends. Thank you to Inland Valley Hospice, in particular Gloria, Judy and Julie for their loving care of Mom and Dad. Services for Timoteo and Mary will be on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E. Mt. View St. The Rosary will be said at 9 a.m., with the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., with burial to follow at Mt. View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road. Arrangements provided by Mead Mortuary, 760-256-5671.
