VERNON R. PRESSLEY June 1, 1938 December 26, 2012 Vernon passed away at his home in Victorville due to cancer, with loving family at his side. He fought the great fight and in the end was ready to go home to his Lord and Savior. He is preceded in death by his father Kedney, sister Louella, and grandson Michael. Vernon is survived by his loving and devoted wife Evelyn of 55 years, and their 3 children; daughter Anna Chidley of Redondo Beach, daughter Verna Evans and her husband Terry of Victorville, and son Ked Pressley and his wife Michele of Lucerne Valley. His true calling was being a zesty and prank pulling grandfather to his grandchildren; Nikki, her husband Joel, Ashley, Alexa, and Jordan and his fiancée Marissa. The blessings didn't stop there; he also had 3 great grandchildren Tai, Ryder, and Zoe. He is also survived by his sister, Cherie Jones and his mother Rose Pressley, both of Kernville. Vernon and Evelyn had recently renewed their wedding vows on Christmas Eve in the presence of family. Vernon's final wish was fulfilled that night when he reaffirmed his love for his wife Evelyn. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
