DANIEL SANCHEZ 6/4/1981 - 7/11/2014 Daniel "Danny" Aaron Sanchez On the evening of Friday July 11, 2014, 33 year old Danny passed away after his 21 year battle to cancer in the comfort of his home while surrounded by his wife, three children, parents and family. Daniel Sanchez was born in San Dimas CA on June 4, 1981. He was the first born child in a family of 4. Daniel was first diagnosed with Paraganglioma at the age of twelve. He underwent four surgeries and radiation treatment between the age of twelve and seventeen. At the age of eighteen, Danny married his wife Brandy, and had his first born child. By the age of twenty one, they had two more children. Daniel supported his family working many jobs but was most proud of his work as a correctional officer. In 2009 they found that the cancer went into his brain, he was forced out of law enforcement so he went back to school. In May of 2013 Danny received his Associates Degree in social science from Barstow College. He intended on entering a nursing program with his wife but before he could get accepted, the cancer had broken his right femur and deteriorated his spine. Daniel was preceded in death by his uncle Benjamin Sanchez "Tio Mean" on June 29, 2014. Daniel is survived by his wife Brandy Sanchez; children Hailey, Daniel Jr. and Aiden Sanchez; parents Danny and Bertha Sanchez; sisters Anne Rivera (Felipe) and Natalie Wolf (Aaron); brother Luke Sanchez; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandparents and in-laws. Services will be held at Our Lady of the Desert church in Apple Valley, which will include a viewing and mass, followed by grave site service at Sunset Hills Mortuary also in Apple Valley on Monday July 21, 2014 beginning at 9:00 am.
