LARRY CHARLES HOEM 7/1/1944 - 8/26/2014 Retired Msgt. Larry Charles Hoem, age 70, went to his heavenly home on August 26, 2014. He was a resident of Victorville for 30 years. He was born July 1, 1944 in Bremerton, WA and was a 1963 graduate / athlete at North Mason High School in Belfair WA, where he ran track and was a running back in football. He was also a graduate of Olympic Community College in Bremerton WA and graduated with an Associate in Technical Arts degree in Electronics. He then entered an apprentice program at Puget Sound Navel Shipyard in Bremerton WA before enlisting in the Air Force in 1966. He was a former Avionics Specialist in the United States Air Force for over 25 years. He was currently employed as Larry the Pizza Man at Dominoes Pizza of Adelanto for over 20 years. He is preceded in death by his father Charles R. Hoem, mother Norma Fowler; brothers Clifford, Norman and Chandler; daughter Karen and son Jonathan. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Buakum Hoem of Victorville CA; his sons Noppadon John Hoem of Boulder City NV and David Hoem of Victorville CA; his daughters Lancimon Holly Curry of Camp Verde AZ, Mary Bennett of Victorville CA and Sharon Whittle of Hesperia CA; his brothers John, Glenn and Neil. He is also survived by his grandchildren Mickela, Craig, Jasmine, Alex, Angela, Christian W., Matthew, Christian B. and Shain; and his soon-to-be born great-granddaughter Cataleya. Services will be held on September 8, 2014 at 9:45am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd Riverside CA 92518; please arrive minimum of 15 minutes earlier, check in at information booth and wait at Staging Area #4 for further instructions. Pastor Dean Wood will be officiating. Memorial donations may be sent to Buakum Hoem, 14798 Clovis St., Victorville CA 92394. Victor Valley Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In his life, he lived selflessly and will always be remembered for making us smile.
