CONRAD LOEHR JR. Conrad Lee Loehr Jr., went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and his Mom, on November 29, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. He was at home surrounded by his family. Conrad was born August 19, 1952 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was an avid dog lover and bred Pekingese puppies. He gave each of his puppies a special name that was chosen with great thought and lots of love. His brother called him the dog whisperer. He loved to play cards (Cribbage and Pinochle), Ping Pong and enjoyed spending time with his family. Most of all, he loved going to church where he could be found singing and worshiping from the second row. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Shropshire; his brothers, Jim Loehr of Joliet, Illinois, Ricky Loehr and his wife, Clarissa of Yermo, Kenneth Loehr and his wife, Sarah of Yermo; his sisters, Jackie Burkhouse and Cheryl Morrow of Barstow; his grandchildren, Ashley Lawrence, Scott Lawrence, Jesokiah Harris, and Mackenzie Shropshire; longtime friends, Ann Drew and Louie Tyler; and many nieces and nephews (including great) who loved him dearly. Conrad is preceded in death by his loving mother, Adele Shefchik; sister, Michelle Loehr; brother, Jerry; grandson, Levi Harris; and nephews, Raphael and Malachi. A celebration of Conrad's life will be held Saturday December 8, 2012 at 2 p.m., at Newberry Assembly of God Church, 32582 Mountain View Road, Newberry Springs, CA.
