RODRIGO CASTILLO 10/21/1934 - 6/11/2013 Rodrigo Castillo was born October 21, 1934 in Socorro New Mexico to Rafelita, Pablo Castillo. He was the oldest of 12 children. He went to Socorro High where he did not finish but made it to 11th grade. He then join Army National guard for 5 years. After doing that Rodrigo move to California to work for Santa Fe Railroad. There he work for 30 years and retired out as Electrician Supervisor. Those who knew him had nick names for him, such as "sweetpea" "and hot rod." He is survive by his wife of 35 years, Patricia Castillo of Barstow CA.; two step-daughters, Tabitha Bush And Teresa Fuerte of Barstow; his son, Randy Castillo of Barstow; Paula Castillo of Diamond Bar, and Pam Holquin of New Mexico; two other sons that are preceded in death, Desi and Roger Castillo. He has 6 living siblings, 2 bothers, Nap and Paule Castillo, of New Mexico and 4 sisters, Mary Barber, Elosia Silva, Tony Little, Marie Shorter all of New Mexico. He has 10 grandchildren that he loves so much. 15 great grand children that he loved dearly. It sadden us to say he went to the Lord on June 11, 2013, after fighting lung cancer. Service of Memorial will be held on Tuesday June 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Church, 505 E. Mountain View St., Barstow, Ca. A celebration of life will follow after mass at Noon Hall.
