LaVerne Johnson Obituary
LaVerne, was born September 17, 1938, in Palestine, Texas, to Oswald and Erna Meeck. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1956 and later married Bennice Johnson on July 25, 1957. A marriage that lasted 56 years. LaVerne, was also a member of the Peace Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Charles Meeck.
She is survived by her husband, Bennice Johnson; sons, Craig Johnson and wife, Holly, of Woodway, Keith Johnson and wife, Brenda, of Thorndale; grandsons, Benjamin, Nicholas and Dean Johnson; sisters, Doris Lasiter, Joyce Grasty and husband, Roy, all of Palestine, and Aileen Batte and husband, Charles, of Belton; sister-in-law, Betty Douthit of Palestine; and numerous dear family and friends.
The Johnson family ask that Memorials be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 9301 Panther Way, Hewitt, TX 76643

Dear Johnson family,
