I wanted to let you know that Dr. Brown was a pivotal person in my life. As an undergraduate at Baylor I took his invertebrate zoology course and it changed my way of thinking. His passion was obvious and his knowledge of the breadth of natural history was impressive. I decided that year I wanted to become a university professor and worked to that end. Over the years there were people in my life that made a difference, and Dr. Brown was one of those people. I am sorry for your loss.
