David Reid McCartney, 28, of Gholson, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013, near Crawford, the result of an automobile accident. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Gholson Cemetery, with Lynn Parks and Craig Robinson officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Aderhold Funeral Home in West.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal McCartney; two sons, David McCartney Jr. and Kai McCartney; two daughters, Carley Monk and Emily McCartney; father, Allen McCartney and wife, Stacy; mother, Patricia McCartney; paternal grandmother, Ann McCartney and husband, Bill Milton; sisters, Alysha McCartney, Holly Washington and Amanda Straten; brothers, Chris Eaton, Michael Hitchcock and Michael Trammell; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
