Doyle G. Nonamaker, 81, of Hallsburg, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Horn Hill Cemetery in Limestone County.
Doyle was born Sept. 27, 1931, in Alton, Kan., to Richard and Sarah (Shotts) Nonamaker. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service, then made central Texas his home in 1969. He then worked for Slurry-Seal, retiring in 1984.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mildred Eileen Williams; and daughter, Donna Stovall.
Survivors include wife, Shirley Nonamaker; daughters, Sarah Denney and husband, Mike, Suean Burden and husband, Bill, Patricia Slaight and husband Pete, Robbie Dailey, and Kathryn Dailey; sons, Clifford Davenport and wife, Debbie, Richard Nonamaker, and Kenneth Dailey and wife, Mellissa; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
