Margaret Scott, 90, of Woodway, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at Providence Health Center. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at McGregor Cemetery. There is no formal visitation scheduled.
Margaret was born August 15, 1922 in Rossville, Georgia to Bert and Clemmie Lee Carter. She moved to Texas in 1963 and married Lt. Col. Chester Scott. She was a financial officer throughout her career.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Marcia Driver and husband, Jerry of Woodway; granddaughter's, Stacey Driver and husband, Charlie of Crawford and Dena Johnson and husband, Darryl of Krum; great-grandchildren, Denise Johnson and fiancŽ, Matt Rivas of Crawford, Kacie Driver, Chris Driver, Kendall Johnson and Kylie Johnson; and her three sisters, Joyce Hankins and Joanne Carter both of Rossville, Ga., and Billie Dawson of Charlotte, North Carolina.
