Kamphaus, Donald - Frederick  
Donald W. Kamphaus 04 June 1924 | 10 May 2015. Our much loved Dad, at nearly 91, went home to rest, early Mothers Day. Born in Cincinnati, OH, he enlisted in the Navy and served in the South Pacific during WWII. He found his true calling as a commercial artist and creative director. His family followed him across the country as he pursued his passion, finally settling in Waltham, MA. He was a fixture in the Boston advertising world for over 30 years, working for Star Market, Stop and Shop and later his own agency, The Kamphaus Advantage. He retired to Cape Coral, FL in 1986. Hes proceeded in death by his wife, Johnnie Kamphaus and daughter, Paula Kamphaus. He leaves behind his daughter, Eileen Murray, son in law, Kevin Murray, Sons, Richard, James and Michael, daughter in law, Linda Kamphaus, son in law Jack Wade, daughter, Lisabeth Knotts and son in law, Stephen Knotts (LTC-R). 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and countless friends. He lived a long and full life. A memorial Catholic Mass and celebration of life party will be held July 18, 2015 at St. Michaels Church, Mt. Airy, MD.

Kotsifas, George N. - Waltham  
George N. Kotsifas of Waltham died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the Maristhill Nursing Home in Waltham. He was 83. A lifelong Waltham resident, Mr. Kotsifas was born on July 2, 1931, a son of the late Nicholas and Margaret (Marchacos) Kotsifas. George was a quality control inspector for the W.H. Nichols Company in Waltham for over forty-two years until his retirement. He was a graduate of Waltham High School and served in the U.S. Air Force as well as the National Guard. George was a member of the Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church in Watertown for many years. An avid Red Sox fan, he also enjoyed gardening. George is survived by his children, Nicholas G. Kotsifas and his wife, Kathleen, of Natick and Arthur A. Kotsifas and his wife, Christine, of Arlington; his grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as "Papou", Angela, Alexandria, and Lucas Kotsifas; his sister, Bess Karamas of Waltham; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Peter Kotsifas, Theresa Manos, Clara Boisvert, and Effie Pappas. A Funeral Service is being held on Thursday, May 28th, in the Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church, 25 Bigelow Avenue, Watertown. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
