Angela Iannuzzo Obituary
Angela F. (Ravesi) Iannuzzo, 88, of Wareham, formerly of Waltham, died August 24, 2014 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston after a brief illness. She was the wife of Peter T. Iannuzzo, Sr. They were married for 67 years. She was the daughter of the late Francesco and Giuseppina (Natoli) Ravesi. She was born in Malfa, Isola di Salina, Italy. She lived in Waltham for many years and summered in Wareham since the 1950s before moving there permanently in 1986. Mrs. Iannuzzo worked as a seamstress in the garments industry in the Waltham area including Moody Dress and Boston Maid. She enjoyed reading and spending time at Swifts Beach. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing. She made several wedding gowns throughout the years. Survivors include her husband, Peter T. Iannuzzo, Sr.; 2 daughters, Mary L. Murphy and her husband James of Wareham and Linda J. Riley of Wareham; 3 sons, Peter T. Iannuzzo, Jr. and his wife, Joan of Long Valley, NJ, Paul A. Iannuzzo of Wareham and John W. Iannuzzo and his girlfriend, Kathleen Clancy of Wareham; a brother, Joseph Ravesi of Whitman formerly of Malfa, Italy; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a nephew and 2 nieces. Her funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
