Michael Hoover Obituary

A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, October 5th, in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, Waltham, for Mr. Michael J. Hoover, of Waltham. Burial followed in Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham. Michael died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton. He was 57. Michael was born in Waltham on August 24, 1954, a son of the late Henry M. and Claire M. (Copan) Hoover, and had been a lifelong resident. In 1972 he graduated from Waltham High School and two years later graduated from Wentworth Institute in Boston. After that he served as a senior airman with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a computer programmer for various financial institutions, most recently with Olmstead Associates in Boston. He leaves his siblings, Donald E. Hoover of Brimfield, Karen M. LeBlanc and Wayne H. Hoover, both of Waltham and several nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
