Mary F. Cincotta of Wareham passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning March 19th, 2014 in her daughters home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 77. Born on February 23, 1937 in Newton; beloved daughter of the late Francesco and Antonietta (Fragale) Montesanti, Mary was raised in Newton and lived for many years in Waltham before moving to Wareham in 1985. A graduate of Newton High School with the Class of 1955, Mary was employed at Abbott Rental in Waltham and with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance in Wareham for over 15 years until her retirement. Family was the most important aspect and central focus of her life. She loved giving of herself and providing for others. Through the years she fostered many children and her home was always welcome to anyone. In her spare time she loved cooking, sewing, and watching television especially "Family Feud & Judge Judy". She is survived by her loving & devoted children Sal Cincotta of Waltham, Toni Cincotta of Wareham, Frank Cincotta and his wife Kathy of Westboro, Marianne Cincotta of Wareham, Linda Meadows and her husband Billy of Milford, Maria Cincotta, Bakye Cincotta and Troy Cincotta all of Wareham, her cherished grandchildren Anthony, Alexandra, Samantha, Joseph, Jacob, Arianna, Danielle, April, Cassidy, Hayley & Julianna, and her great grandchildren Emma and Mia, her dear siblings Sarah DeFazio and her husband Joseph of Waltham and Clement Montesanti and his wife Norma of Waltham. In addition she is survived by her former husband Anthony Cincotta and numerous nieces, nephews and foster children. Relatives & Friends were respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Mary's Life at Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham on Monday March 24th at 11:00 a.m. Visiting Hours were held in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapel, www.brascofuneral.com, 773 Moody St., WALTHAM, Sunday March 23, from 2-6 p.m. Parking attendants on duty.
