Susan D. Henderson, 65, of Jackson Center passed away at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016, at her residence with her daughters at her side.|
She was born in Sidney, Ohio, on March 13, 1951, to Robert and Marguerite (Faulder) Henderson, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters: April (Jason) Platfoot of Jackson Center, Laura (JR) Biederman of Waynesfield, Stephanie (Josh) Carter of Wapakoneta; nine grandchildren: Trent, Ian, Elena and Reed Platfoot, Aubrey, Aiden and Addie Biederman, Steele and Isabelle Carter; three brothers: Robert K. (Marsha) Henderson of Wapakoneta, Richard (Christina) Henderson of Celina and Bruce (Rosie) Henderson of Sidney.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryce Biederman.
Susan was a 1969 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School. She enjoyed being a floral designer and worked at Honda of Anna for 22 years. She was a member of the New Hampshire Community Church where she was a devout Christian and faithful servant. She liked spending time going to and watching her grandchildren's sporting events. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, but, most of all loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren at family dinners on Sunday nights.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at New Hampshire Community Church with Pastors Ryan Price and Wynand DeWet officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta and one hour prior to the service at the church.
