Lorena W. Crouch, 95, Wright City, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Warrenton Manor, Wright City.|
She was born June 25, 1919, in Warrenton, the daughter of Joseph Bakameyer and wife Amelia. During her working years, Lorena was a secretary. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, and a volunteer and former board member of Warrenton Senior Center.
Lorena is survived by one brother, Edward Bakameyer, St. Louis; one sister, Virginia Morhaus, Warrenton; three nephews, Allan W. Dreyer, Warrenton, Gary L. Dreyer, Chesterfield, and Kenneth Bakameyer, Korea; four nieces, Karen L. Gregory, Warrenton, Gail A. Allgood, Albia, Iowa, Denise Basler, St. Louis, and Joan Orso, Wildwood; other relatives and many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Lorena was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Crouch; parents, Joseph and Amelia Bakameyer; and one niece, Lisa Mantia.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 3, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Warrenton City Cemetery, Warrenton.
Memorials to Warren County Senior Center or Heartland Hospice, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.
