Alice M Nolte, nee Neill, 94, Warrenton, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014, at Parklane Nursing Center, Wentzville, with her loving family by her side. |
Alice was born to Joseph Neill and wife Eva Feb. 4, 1920, in St. Louis. She served her country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. Alice was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton. She was a wonderful wife and homemaker who enjoyed bowling in her early years. Alice loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Adam.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eva Neill; and one daughter, Beverly Bailey.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Kenneth Nolte; one daughter, Patricia Phillip and husband Fred; one grandson, Adam and wife Amy; one son-in-law, Jerry Bailey; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 29, at Martin Funeral Home, Warrenton, from 4 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Warrenton.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
