Karen A. White, 51, Wright City, passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, in Warrenton.|
She was born July 22, 1963, in St. Louis, the daughter of Bill Rankin and wife Kaye, nee Probus. Karen worked for Wright City Elementary School for nine years. She was a 4-H, Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader. Karen enjoyed crocheting, loved being with her family and liked living in the country.
She was the beloved wife of John White, Wright City. Karen also is survived by her parents, Bill and Kaye Rankin, Frost Proof, Fla.; three sons, Jonathan (Daniell) White, Jimmy White, all of St. Charles, and Jason White, Wright City; one daughter, Jennifer White, Wright City; one brother, Mike Rankin, Harrison, Ark.; three sisters, Susan (Kenny) Lafferty, Warrenton, Laura Rankin, Chesterfield, and Judy (Charlie) Beasley, Union; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Rankin, Branson; other relatives and many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation was scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton.
A funeral service was scheduled to follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment was private in the family cemetery.
