Dear Ruth,

Thank you for having being a wonderful person, a great humanitarian and exemplary volunteer at United Community Ministries (UCM). Your professional demeanor and kindness inspired so many of the clients whom you counseled at UCM, and over the years you helped to keep hope alive in hundreds of families. You greatly helped fulfill UCM's mission: helping families and individuals through a crisis toward self-sufficiency, and to encourage their participation in the wider community. And as we said goodbye to you during April 2013, among the many wonderful things we thanked you for were your service that made a real and lasting difference. You have been instrumental in helping us to successfully build strong families and strong communities -- thank you! We extend our heartfelt condolences to your family and loved ones.

Marcos A. Castillo, UCM's Volunteer & Community Relations Coordinator
