Dear Hedy, I wish to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family. You and George will remain in our family's memory and history forever, from when we moved beside you in the early 1950s on 5th Street. Mom (Nadine Kuper) passed away just 16 days after George. Mom and Dad (Fred Kuper) were so impressed when you came for their 50th wedding anniversary, November 1996. Ginny, John, Nora, and I send our love to you. -- Martha Kuper Brinson

George was a great and helpful neighbor when I was growing up on 5th Street in Arlington. He helped me get my first real job that led to many other opportunities through my life based on the experience I gained working with George at Health, Education and Welfare. He was a long time friend of my parents Pete and Georgie Ann and a great father to his children Kenny and Karen. George will be greatly missed on 5th Street. My condolences to the Farah family.

The Farah Family,

We are deeply saddened of the loss of George, our dear friend and neighbor. When we moved to N. 5th street some 58 years ago, George and Hedy lived across the street. Our children played and grew up together then moved on to have their own families. We share so many happy memories of those days. Pete will miss his daily visits with his dear friend. I'll still look for the light in their living room window, and miss not seeing it there.

Sadly missed by,

Pete and Georgie Ann Dayton

We moved to the neighborhood 30 years ago and, throughout this time, have always looked forward to seeing George and exchanging smiles and greetings as we went past his house and saw him gardening. He was really the cornerstone of the neighborhood and will be sorely missed. Heartfelt condolences to his wife, family, and friends.

Over 50 years ago, we moved into the neighborhood where George and his family reside. We, like other neighbors, quickly realized that George was a special man--one to be held in high esteem for his honesty, integrity, helpfulness, knowledge and viewpoints on many varied subjects. I will miss his smiling "hello's" and brief conversations as he walked past my home on his way to get the daily newspaper.

You will be sorely missed George. May you forever rest in peace my friend.
