Michael and I were friends in youth group at RRUC and at Winston Churchill HS. He was one the funniest people I knew, even years after graduation I would remember funny jokes he had told me or songs he sang and it would always bring a smile to my face. I regret not telling him how much he meant to me, or how often I am reminded of him. Of all the people I remember, he was a star that shined brighter than most. I will cherish my memories with him for the rest of my years. My deepest condolences to the Butvinik family.

I never had the opportunity to meet Michael, but i know his parents, Joan and Jeff, must be heartbroken losing him so suddenly and unexpectedly. My condolences to his extended family and friends.

I didn't really know Michael except for the kindness and hospitality he paid me and my friend at "Ted's Bulletin" shortly after the restaurant opened. We had a challenging experience, and his desire to have a high quality experience for us led to him offering us to return gratis on him. We did, and the experience was as he wanted for us. I saw him one other time earlier this year at the American Tap Room. I wanted to say hello and chat, but thought he may not remember me. But, he made an impression upon me, and I'm sad to hear he's no longer with us. I send me sincere condolences to the family, as I know they've experienced a true loss in someone who had only just begun to shine his light in the world.

We are heartbroken for the loss of Michael. He was always so warm and friendly and we loved catching up when we would see him. He always seemed to be a gentle spirit. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends at this very difficult time.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of sorrow. Those who die God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. (Psalms 116:15) My sincerest sympathy.
