    KEY P. YANG   Mr. Key P. Yang of Bethesda, MD, passed away on January 16, 2015 of respiratory failure. He had retired as Chief of the Asian Division at the Library of Congress in 1995, and was the first Head of the Korean Section there for many years. He came to this country in 1949 from South Korea and has lived most of his life in the Washington, DC area, from 1950 - 2015. His beloved wife of 65 years, Heseung (Hazel) passed away in 2010. He will be dearly missed by his three daughters, Won Y. Everett (William Wayne), Ellen Latterner (Peter) and Grace Yang; four grandsons, Bryan, Jeffrey, and William (Melinda) Everett and Nicholas Walker; and three great-granddaughters. The funeral visitation will be held at PUMPHREY'S BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE FUNERAL HOME, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 12 to 2 p.m., where a short service will occur from 1 to 1:30 p.m.

  EDWARD E. YOST "Woody" (Age 92)   On Wednesday, January 21, 2015, of Germantown, MD. Beloved husband of the late Virginia Elizabeth "Betty" Yost; father of Michael (Connie), Martin (Cathy), Lawrence, Elaine Yost (Lawrence) Goodall, Francis (Leslie Campbell), and Stephen (Lisa) Yost; brother of the late Loretta (Dwight) Wardlaw; grandfather of Lindsay and Kevin Yost, Shannon Foster and Amy Gallaher; great-grandfather of Taylor Foster and David Gallaher.   ROBERT H. YOUNG   Robert Hardin Young, 61, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital. Mr. Young had retired from Ft. Belvoir as an electronic engineer. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech. He enjoyed computers, technology, fishing, kayaking and the outdoors.Survivors include his brother Thomas Young; sisters Nancy Benedict, Mary Ellen Chamberlain and Jane Rich; nephews Christopher Carter, Thomas Carter, Ryan Young, Connor Chamberlain and Caden Chamberlain. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Mary Jane Young. A service will be held at a later date. Online guest book is available at

  GEORGEANNA YOUNG   Georgeanna Young passed quietly on the morning of January 17, 2015 at Genesis Layhill, where she resided for many years and had several friends. She is survived by two sons, Anthony Jennings and Duane Young; a daughter-in-law Sheshelia Jennings; a grandson, Anthony Jennings, Jr.; two nieces Gloria Crayton and Regina Washington; one nephew George Tillman; a dear friend Mary McDougald; a host of grand nieces and nephews. A viewing at 10 a.m. and service honoring her memory at 11 a.m. will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Snowden Funeral Home, 246 N. Washington St, Rockville, MD.

    HARLEAN YVONNE YOUNG "Vonnie"   Passed peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2015. She is survived by her husband, David L. Young, Sr., son; David L. Young, Jr. (Vaughnetta), three daughters, Jacqueline "Jackie" Johnson, Deborah Y. Rose, Antionette Young; three grandchildren, Terrence L. Young (Deangela Magruder), Sherron Jordan (Marcelo) and Dawud Abdul Wakil (Areeba); four great-grandchildren, Traevon Jordan, Antonio Jordan, Cheritta Jordan and Terrence J. Young; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Young will lie in state at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 400 D Street SE on Monday, January 19, from 10 a.m. until Services at 11 a.m. Interment Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
