Ellen Baxter Schott (64) died on October 29, 2013, after a long and courageous fight against breast cancer. She died at home in McLean, VA, surrounded by her husband of 38 years, Allan Schott and her three children, Meghan Corbitt, Michaela Brady and Jonathan Schott. Ellen is also survived by her two sons-in-law, Timothy Corbitt and Joshua Brady; one granddaughter, three grandsons, and three brothers, Robert, Steven, and Mark Baxter. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Atrium of Meadowlark Gardens, 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Court, Vienna, VA, with a reception to follow immediately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a memorial fund in Ellen's name at the for the Cure.
