Of Stephenson, Virginia, died Monday, June 16, 2014, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Bell was born in 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late John T. and Mary Bell. He was a graduate of Ramsey High School in New Jersey and attended the University of Dayton. Mr. Bell was a Construction Manager and retired in November, 2014 from Pantex.
He married Carol Ann Lau on December 16, 1970 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Surviving with his wife is daughter, Janet Bell of Washington, DC; sons, John Bell of Ashburn, Virginia, and William Bell of Fairbanks, Alaska; four grandchildren, Jillian Bell of San Antonio, Texas, Jocelin Yagel and husband, Tim, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Alexander Bell and Katherine Bell both of Rutland, Vermont; sister, Ann Taggart and husband, Al, of Bloomingdale, New Jersey and brother, Jay Freeborn of Kenne Valley, New York.
All services will be at a later date in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, Winchester, Virginia.
