Passed away February 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Marolyn. He is survived by his son Robert (Susan) of Alexandria, grandchildren Joe, Katy and Will, nieces Sherry Ruff, Carol Bock (Dave), Cindy James (Dennis), Barbara (Brent Johnson), and Carolyn Witt, nephew John Witt, dear friends Sylvia Lukens, Max and Eleanor Lewis, the Curtis Moore family, as well as many other friends and neighbors. Brad was a pilot and communicator serving in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam and received numerous commendations including the Legion of Merit. Following retirement he worked at the Commerce Department, NTIA division. Brad was a longtime member of the Quiet Birds Ham Radio Club, and an avid golfer. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th at Demaine's Funeral Home, 520 South Washington Street in Alexandria, where services will be held on Monday, May 20 at 11 a.m. Interment with full military honors will follow at 1 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery.
