LOUISE M. HANRAHAN  

Louise Margaret King Hanrahan, died February 8, 2013, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by Dr. Donald Hanrahan, her devoted husband of 62 years; her loving sister, Dorothy Steele (Howard); her four daughters, Nancy Schwab, Teresa LaMonica (John), Kathleen Kampa (Joseph) and Donna Jackson (Spencer), and two sons, John (Kirsten) and Patrick (Kathleen). She is cherished by her 17 beloved grandchildren: Robert (Aline), John Gabriel (Leah), Ryan (Nasim), Suzanne, Anna, Courtney, Sean, Kristen, Laura, Keenan, Megan, Alexandra, Colin, Brigid, Luke, Seamus and Grace; and her four great-grandchildren: Carolynne, John Gabriel Jr., Lilia and her namesake Eloise.
 
Louise was born in Atlanta, GA on February 20, 1927 to Homer C. and Felicitas Kaune King. She grew up in Chevy Chase and attended Woodrow Wilson High School. She attended Edgewood Park Junior College in Briarcliff Manor, New York. She married Donald Joseph Hanrahan on February 10, 1951.
 
Visitation will be at MURPHY FALLS CHURCH FUNERAL HOME, 1102 W. Broad Street (Rt. 7) on Monday, February 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More, 3901 N. Cathedral Lane, Arlington, VA 22203 on Tuesday, February 12 at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Virginia, Wednesday, February 13 at 10 a.m.
