Of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away at Southern Maryland Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, September 13, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Laura and George Daily; nine brothers, and son Edward. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Nonnie; daughter Carletta, sons Anthony (Charlotte), Ricardo (Anquinette), Stephfon, and Tyrone; brothers Columbus, Ben and Herman; sisters Inez, Mary, Mabel (Herbert), Dorothy and Deloris Anne (Harold), 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, father-in-law Bill, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends, too numerous to list.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Rock Creek Baptist Church, 4201-8th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20011, from 9 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. Pastor Jeffrey L. Mitchell, Sr., officiating. Repast immediately following services in the fellowship hall. Interment at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. Services by Freeman.
