Devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother - died at her home in McLean, Virginia, on April 12, 2013 surrounded by friends and family. She was 94. A native of Paterson, N.J., she lived the past decade in Northern Virginia after earlier residing in Del Ray Beach, Florida, and Glen Rock, N.J., where she worked for a number of years with the Social Security Administration. Her husband, Dr. Eugene Ferraro, a former school teacher and defense industry executive who served as deputy undersecretary for manpower with the U.S. Air Force during the Johnson Administration, died in 1989. She is survived by: a daughter, Gina Barbara Lewis (Warren) of McLean; two sons, Phil Ferraro (Nancy) of Prince Edward Island, Canada, and Thomas Ferraro (Maureen) of Davidsonville, Md.; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 18, at St. John's Catholic Church in McLean.
