Died at his residence on January 13, 2014 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary; his sons, Gerald and Darryl and their wives Nichelle and Caryn; daughter, Diana and her boyfriend Dewayne; five grandsons, Anthony, Jonathan, Geremy, Brandon and Corey; his brother James; his mother-in-law, three brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law; along with host of family and friends .He served four years active duty in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Upon discharge from the Air Force he served fourteen years in the Air National Guard. He worked over 27 years at WMATA, retiring in 2003 as a Supervisor for Rail Car Maintenance. The viewing will be held Saturday January 18, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at J.B.
