CATHERINE ROSS WHITE DYE

Lifted into heaven January 17, 2011, was Catherine Ross White Dye, 75, of Kansas City, Mo. She was born in Chula, Mo., to Samuel Vernon White and Ila Fern Callaway. July 15, 1953, she married Bill Ross Dye. They settled in the Northland in 1956. Catherine retired from Banking Industry after 40 years. She was a proud member of the Northland Pilot Club, serving those in need as well as serving as the Club President. She was a member of the McMurry Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors include her husband, Bill; daughters, Ceressa (Kent) Jackson and Michele Guess; 6 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; sister, Carolyn (Bill) Rush; brother, Raymond White; a dear cousin, Marlyn (Lavon) Faught; and many other extended family members. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to NorthCare Hospice in appreciation of their staff. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday January 22, 2011, at DW Newcomer's White Chapel, in Gladstone, MO.
