MICHAEL CAGLIOTI

Michael Anthony Caglioti  
A retired Washington lawyer and partner in the firm of Arnold & Porter, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2018, with his brother at his side. Mr. Caglioti was born on February 17, 1958 in New Rochelle, NY. Mr. Caglioti attended New Rochelle High School and then Iona College where he graduated as the class valedictorian in 1980. He attended Princeton University where he earned a master of public affairs (with a concentration in international relations) and a master of arts in politics. He then attended Yale Law School where he was a senior editor of the Yale Law Journal and an officer of the Yale Journal of International Law. Michael joined the international law firm of Arnold & Porter in Washington, DC as an associate in 1990. Michael was a member of the firm's Financial Institutions Practice Group, and was elected partner in 1998. Michael retired from the firm in June 2002. Michael was greatly admired for all that he achieved despite severe physical disabilities. Michael is survived by his mother, Consuela A. Caglioti, his brother, Anthony J. Caglioti, his sister-in-law, Mary Jane Caglioti, his nephews, Zachary Pisani and Joel Joseph, and his dear friends, Nesamani and Stella Joseph. He was predeceased by his father Anthony F.
