I had the pleasure of working with Charles on our Community Publication. He was a pleasure to work with and I learned from him.

Mr. Sonneborn was a really nice man. Having grown up in Forest Knolls across the street from the Sonneborn family starting in the 1960's, I have fond memories of him. My sympathies go out to the entire family.
Caddington Ave. has lost another friend and may he rest in peace!

Dear Roberta & Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We enjoyed Charles frienship as we were all new neighbors at Tivili Isles. Earlier this year, we spent some talking with Charles at the Clubhouse Pool. We laughed that it took awhile for us to be sitting at the pool. His leadership and committment to our community was instrumental to the progress made to date. We will miss him.
With deepest sympathy,

Charles gave much to our community of Four Seasons. As program Chairman, he supplied Mens Club speakers which filled our club house to capacity. His community newsletter articles were always of great interest and he did a phenomenal job of raising funds for the paper though the sale of advertising. Charles' counsel and wisdom will be missed.

I was broken hearted to hear of Charles passing. He was the grandfather of my two boys, Kyle and Casey. Charles was a great man with strong convictions when it came to things he was passionate about. My heart goes out to you Roberta. I know what you are going through. I lost my husband very suddenly 3 years ago. I will pray that God gives you peace and understanding and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. May God bless you. Donna Windrider-Byrd

I too, grew up in Forest Knolls, right around the corner from the Sonneborns and have fond memories of Mr. Sonneborn. My 83 year old father also remembers their shared interest in college football and Mr. Sonneborn coaching kids football. My heartfelt sympathy to the family.

Even when someone we love is suffering and in pain, seeing them slip away from us is a terrible loss and breaks our hearts. Those of us who have already been through this kind of grief hurt with you now, feel your pain and loss, and share your tears.
I hope the outpouring of sympathy, the kind acts of friends and strangers, and the comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many, will help you through this difficult time. Sometimes it helps to know you're not alone and others are thinking of you.

I'm sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. My family lived next door to the Sonneborns for 14 years. We moved to Florida in 1976, but I still remember Craig and Cary and the bamboo on the side of their house that threatened to take over our back yard. I recall that Charlie was a hard core University of Florida fan and I remember how he loved to watch their football games, especially when they won. To the family, please accept my condolences on your loss.
