GERALD HOWARD SHERMAN
On Monday, March 19, 2012, GERALD H. SHERMAN of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of the late Lola Kay Sherman; devoted father of Ann Julia Sherman and Jonathan Henry Sherman; loving brother of Linda Carole Troy. Also survived by two beloved grandchildren, Benjamin and Julia Sherman. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at Congregation Beth El, 8215 Old Georgetown Rd., Bethesda, MD. Family will be observing Shiva March 23, 2 p.m. until sunset at his late residence and March 25 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the home of Catherine Foot. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org and/or the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, www.ccfa.org.
