Jessie, Jim, Carolyn, Jimmy, Bobby,
I has taken me almost six months to be able to write this. I have not been able to put into words how much Jessie's passing has affected me. I still am not sure I can. You see Jessie was more than a friend of sons' he was my friend. There were many days that he and I spent alone watching football, talking football, and discussing life in general. He would ask me questions out of the blue that made me stop and wonder what he was really thinking about. He was always thinking about something.
As I sit here typing on the computer he designed and built, I am reminded of the day he graduated from the computer school and was seeing dollar signs in his future. He knew he would eventually be rich. When in reality he was already rich where it really counted -- he had good friends and family that were there for him when he needed them.
Jessie was a special individual in many ways-- from his extrordinary knowledge of football trivial to his special realtionship with Michael. He would often bring Michael by on Sunday afternoon when he had fallen asleep in his car seat. He would put Michael on the couch in the living room and sit down to visit with his friends. But every 10 minutes he was up to check on his son.
I know this long but it still does not say what I want. I guess it will have to do. The bottom line is Jessie --- my family and I really miss you. You and Russell are always in our thoughts. Every day something reminds us of both of you, so we know you are with us. Rest in peace Jessie.

To Mr. and Mrs. Lusby:
Jesse was the kind of friend that everyone should have. He looked at what was inside a person's heart, not what was on the outside. While we only knew each other for a short time, I was truely blessed to know him. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Jesse meant so much to me in the day to day operation of the shop. He is sorely missed not just for the work he was so good at but mostly for the wonderful young man he is. He was my friend, my co-worker and my employee. It will be such a struggle to not see your face on Monday to tell me what was on Bill Parcell's mind. I love you and miss you Jesse. Thank you again and again.
