CARLOS VICTOR MONTANARO  
On Tuesday, November 9, 2010 after a lengthy illness with Parkinson's Disease, of Olney, Maryland. Beloved husband of Norma Montanaro; loving father of Alvaro (Gina) Montanaro and Veronica (Paul) Montanaro VanWagner; grandfather of Alina Montanaro Mayers, Krystina, John Mark, Lindsey, Justin, Jordan, Noah and Charlotte; brother of Adolfo (Carolyn) and Lisandro (Maria) Montanaro and also survived by many other loving family members and friends. Family will receive friends at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Montgomery Ave., (Rt. 28, exit 6A just of I-270) on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass will be offered at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentdale Drive, Potomac, Maryland 20854 on Monday, November 15, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brooke Grove Foundation, 18100 Slade School Road, Sandy Spring, Maryland 20860. Mr. Montanaro was a former Vice President International Banking with The Riggs National Bank and he also served as Ambassador of Paraguay to the Organization of American States (OAS).Please view and sign family guestbook at www.pumphreyfuneralhome.com
