Dear Adelaide and Family,
Just this morning, I heard a news story about the Boy Scouts. I was instantly taken to story from Joe's service about how he could do anything. Of course he could be up on the roof, after all, he was an Eagle Scout! My two children went through the NRC Daycare Center when Andrew and Matthew were there. Adelaide and Joe were such a fantastic match. I have many fond memories of being at your home for Halloween parties. Whenever I see your mom at NRC, I marvel at the courage, strength, and resiliency she has shown. You all continue to remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Joe from Mount Vernon, OLV and many years with Boy Scouts. Joe was a natural leader and we spent great times back then, camping, hiking and fishing in our years with Boy Scouts together.
We had a great group in old Troop 11 and developed many friendships and memories from those days. May Joe Rest In Peace and prayers for his family.

To the Giantelli family, I wish to express my deepest condolences on the passing of Joe. From across the street on Blossom Dr., it was always fun to watch Joe put on his overalls and accomplish whatever project he put his mind to, from pulling out bushes with his Jeep, working on his cars, and up to creating his own scaffolding and rebuilding the top of his chimney on his own. He put me and the rest of his neighbors to shame with his talents and no wonder, he was an Eagle Scout I now realize. I was honored to have known and worked with Joe for many years in the Operating Experience Branch. Joe helped make our work enjoyable and he was our "go to" guy for all things electrical and instrumentation. I miss his kindness and sense of humor.
