Bob was a great inspiration and friend and leaves an American Hero legacy. I enjoyed getting to know him during my tour of duty in Washington DC while attending ST Marks UMC. Bob was one of those vetern Sailors from WWII that you knew saw more than anyone could have imagined. His jovial smile and kidding always brightened up our day when he was around. His service to the community, our church, and the campground was a living commitment in serving Christ. While we'll miss him here on earth, we know he is dancing in heaven with our Lord and Savior. God Bless Bob's family and friends as we will miss him, but what a joyful rememberance he's left us with!
