McDARIS ANNA MAE FIELDS McDARIS On Monday, July 26, 2010. She was born on June 4, 1927 to Wheeler H. Fields, Sr. and Willie Lee Grace Hazelwood Fields in Scarbro, WV. Beloved mother of Pamela M. (Grady) Tuck of Ringgold, VA and Robin M. (Dwight) Hill of Finksburg, MD; grandmother of Brian D. Smoot (fiance'' Mandy Rigney) of Dry Fork, VA; great-grandmother of Dylan, Brian and Alexandria Smoot of Keeling, VA and Jasmine Smoot of Dry Fork, VA and one step-great-granddaughter, Violet Mills of Dry Fork, VA; sister and sister-in-law of Patricia and Vince Garza of Houston, TX, Glen R. (Bo) and Delores (Skippy) Fields of Mechanicsville, VA, Nick and Marion M. (Chock) and Kathy Fields of Yelm, WA, Joan S. Fields of Hay Market, VA and Ester Fields of Fairfax, VA. She is also survived by several special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one grandson, John H. Hill; three sisters, Cora Lee, Emma Grace and MaryJane Fields and two brothers, Wheeler "Buddy" and John "Pee-Pee" Fields. Friends may call at the MURPHY FALLS CHURCH FUNERAL HOME, 1102 W. Broad St., (Rt. 7) where the family will be present from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday prior to services at 11:30 a.m. Interment National Memorial Park.
