On Tuesday, March 30, 2004, from pulmonary fibrocyst. Beloved husband for 48 years of Florence Culley Binford. He is survived by three children, Christie Thompson (Chad) of Blacksburg, VA, John Q. Binford, Jr. (Lisa) of Oak Hill, VA and Bonnie Kramer (Brian) of Parksley, VA; and five grandchildren. Friends may call at THE MURPHY FUNERAL HOME OF ARLINGTON, 4510 Wilson Blvd., on Thursday, April 1 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 2, at 11 a.m. in Memorial Baptist Church, 3455 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA. Inurnment will take place Wednesday, April 14, 9 a.m. at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Memorial Baptist Church Foundation.
