I was a graduate student in the social program at Maryland (1992-1999) and Jud was on my dissertation committee. Jud's smile was ever-present and his laugh was infectious. I'll remember Jud as a kind and caring individual. What I learned from him will be passed on to my students. Thanks Jud, you'll be missed.

I was one of Jud's doctoral students many years ago (PhD 1977). I've been fortunate to have had a rewarding career as a psychologist, and I am grateful for Jud's patience and wisdom that laid the foundation for my path. My deepest sympathies to you.

Hi. It's Darrylyn. We're on vacation for the next few weeks, but wanted you to know that you and your family are definitely in our thoughts and prayers. Losing a parent has to be hard; and from your dad's glowing background and achievements, I can only guess that he was someone that you admired and respected greatly. I'm sure that he will be sorely missed.

Amen

I hope the enthusiasm Jud had for life lives on in all those who were fortunate enough to share it with him. He was a kind, always curious, man and that smile, was worth a thousand words.
