I learned of Terry's death only last night. Although it's been probably two years since I've seen Terry and probably 11 since we really hung out, my heart sank upon hearing the news. Terry and I were close friends in high school and for a couple of years afterward. He and I were quite possibly the biggest goofballs I knew at the time. Whether it was making fun of teachers, skipping school to eat at Denny's, or watching and making horror movies, my time with Terry was never, ever dull. He was one of the few people I've known that was always in a good mood, or as someone else put it, always "on". His energy and comedy seemed boundless and were matched only by his creativity and talent. I always knew he would be successful in an industry where most weren't. I know how much he will be missed. My sincerest condolences to the Crummitt Family.

I met Terry in high school back in 1990 I belive it was. We acted together in the Shakespearean Troupe, Forensics and did many a school play and musical together. We even had worked together in DC on the Spirit of Washington cruise boats and were rehearsal dance partners a few times. He always had a magical way of making me feel wonderful about myself and my talent. I will always remember him as a multitalented humorous zealous indifilmmaker. I was so hoping to work with him again in the future. I'll miss you greatly Terry.

There was a time when Terry and I talked often, hung out, watched movies, dished on Hollywood, and traded lines from films and generally had a great time together. Being with him made me feel truly alive because Terry was always "on," even in his quietest moments. He was always plotting, scheming, analyzing and imparting wisdom. If not for him, I would be a different person today. I'll never know anyone like Terry, and I'll carry his spirit wherever I go. I pray for the support that his mother Sue and his best friend Steve need right now. Most of all, I will miss my friend.

Although we have never met Terrence or his family, we have "met" his mom, Susan, through Ebay. We pray that she and the family will find a way to deal with the grief and will take some comfort from the love and prayers of others.

I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. My memories of Terry take me back to when we were children at Clifton Park Baptist Church. Although I had not seen Terry in a very long time, he was someone I will never forget. I know his mom Susan and brother Kenny and his family are grieving the loss of such a wonderful young man. Please know you all are in all of our hearts and prayers. Terry's beautiful spirit will be forever shining in your hearts.

Terry:
I met Terry at Clifton Park Baptist Church, Silver Spring some years ago. His mother, Sue is like a mother to me. Each time I was in their house and Terry was around, he was always friendly and full of life. At his funeral today, nothing could be more gracious for a young man of 31 to have touched as many lives in his brief years on earth.
My heartfelt condolences to his mother-Sue, brother-Kenny and other loved ones. May God be with you all!

I have not seen Terry since High School. But I am saddened by the news of his death. I recall his creativity and talent as early as Elementary School. His artistic sense was strong from the beginning, and he was not affraid to show, share it. That is very hard for anyone to do, much less a young boy in Elementary School. My condolences to all who knew and loved Terry and The Crummit Family.

I am so shocked and saddened by Terry's passing. I expect that he will call at any minute and sing to me on the phone. Days ago we were just talking about which town Terry should conquer next - LA or New York. I was selfishly rooting for LA so he could be close by. I know that he is singing up in heaven - tan, beautiful and young. I miss you!

It is difficult to understand why these things happen and even more difficult to understand how we will ever heal from such a senseless tradgedy. What I do know is how fortunate I was to have known Terry even if only for one short year. I will always remember him as one of the most uplifting, caring, loving...remarkable people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I will never forget our time together.
A good friend said to me yesterday...." It's not that Terry wanted to go Erin, it's just that someone up above needed a star for the big show."
We will miss you Terry!
Love,

I am so glad to have known Terry. He was a good friend of my sisters and he was very kind to me. I will always remember his encyclopedic knowledge of movies, his effusiveness for life and his humor. He could make me laugh even when I was feeling grumpy...he was so silly and always so funny. My heart goes out to Terry's friends and family.

The joy, music, song and vitality that Terry shared in my home as a young man will always be teasured. Terry was the brother to my daughters that they never had and his creativeness added such life to my family. His smile will be forever remembered, his Trip Into the Woods will be recalled with happiness and humor, his spirit forever missed. You were a love, may God bless you. I hope there is plenty of milk in heaven Terry.

I am utterly heartbroken at the loss of my friend Terry. I have known him for 15 years and he made me laugh every time we talked. Terry was a great friend- always supportive and morale-boosting. He loved his mom, his brother and his friends so much- especially Kathryn and Steve. Terry was always available to bring energy and happiness to any occasion. He had a great passion for his hobbies and his talents. I will miss his crazy, wacky sense of humor. Terry did the best Jan Brady impression of anyone I know. I will miss his unflagging support and loyalty as a friend. But most of all, I will miss Terry.
