Margaret Peters Obituary
PETERS, MARGARET VERA
Affectionately known as "Big Pete" and later as Aunt Margaret, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 3, 2004. Ms. Peters was the sister of the late Roumania Peters Walker. They were known as the Peters sisters in the tennis circle. Margaret Peters is a graduate of Tuskegee University. Family will receive friends at McGUIRE FUNERAL HOME, 7400 Georgia Ave. N.W. on Friday, November 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 11 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church, 2712 Dumbarton Ave. N.W. Ms. Peters is survived by a nephew, James Walker, niece, Frances W. Weekes, a nephew-in-law, one grand- niece and one grand-nephew.
