Emma Cabrera Obituary
CABRERA EMMA A. CABRERA On Friday, November 20, 2009 of Annandale, VA Emma Agramonte Cabrera, wife of the late Dr. Ruben D. Cabrera; mother of Emi Curi and her husband Tomas, Jackie Ghorbani; daughter of Mercedes Sanchez Agramonte; sister of Osvaldo Agramonte and Estela Agramonte. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two step grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the FAIRFAX MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA 22032 on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 3901 Woodburn Rd., Annandale, VA 22003, Wednesday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m. burial will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park. The family request that Mass cards be offered and prayers for her survivors. www.fmfh.com

I've known Emma since my first year at NVCC, 1994 and would look forward to her visits to my office. Always a very kind, warm,and stylish lady. I will treasure the talks we had, the dinner we shared, the beautiful gifts from her home, and the flowers in my office.
Please know that Emma will be truely missed. I pray you will gain strength from knowing how much she touched others.

Praying that God will grant you everlasting peace. Thank you for the love and teaching that you gave my son, Edward, from when he was two years old until he started first grade. He remembers those years with happiness - that was when he started to learn Spanish. May each day be filled with the beautiful flowers you loved so much.
