BERMINGHAM ROBERT A. BERMINGHAM, SR. (Age 84) On Monday, April 26, 2010, of Annandale, VA, passed away at his home. Beloved husband of Joyce. Devoted father of Michael (wife Diane), Daniel, Patricia (husband Steve) and Robert Jr. (wife Kathy). Robert is also survived by two sisters, Edith and Helen; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Katherine Bermingham; sisters, Mary, Betty, Margaret and Suzanne; and brothers, Rev. Thomas Bermingham S.J. and John. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, 7401 St. Michael''s Lane, Annandale, VA 22003, on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Columbia Gardens Cemetery, 3411 Arlington Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201. www.fmfh.com

Dear Joyce and family. I worked with Bob in Legat, Mexico, back in the 60s. We had similar assignments and shared an office when I first arrived. I will always remember his cheery manner and broad smile. We had wonderful give and takes on the day's affairs. As the "old timer" he helped break me in. I treasure Bob's memory and pray for the repose of his soul.
