WILLIAM THOMAS MASON, III
On November 1, 2010, WILLIAM THOMAS MASON, III. Devoted husband to Donna Mason; loving father to Thomas Mason (Ella Ede), Stephen Mason (Laura Johnson) and Laura (Mike) deMilt; dear grandfather to Taylor, Carter, Tatum and Sabrina; caring brother to Julie McGee and Rose Decker.Family will receive visitors at HARRY H. WITZKE'S FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City on Thursday, November 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Highland, MD. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the church. www.harrywitzkefuneralhome.com

To Bill's family,
I knew Bill through the ombudsman community. I remember him fondly for his warmth and intelligence. I am sad to hear of his passing and thankful for his great contributions. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Bill briefly on a few occasions over the years at APL. He always impressed me as someone with an extremely cheerful yet peaceful outlook on life. I greatly enjoyed our conversations and the help he gave me. He will be fondly remembered by many at APL. I sincerely hope only the good times with Bill remain in the thoughts of his family and friends.

I am truly sorry that the world lost a wonderful man in Bill. I have always held him and his family in high regard, and was happy to have a chance to visit with him on my trip back to Maryland in August. God bless his family at this time.
