AHEARN CYNTHIA ANNE GUST AHEARN On August 31, 2008, CYNTHIA ANNE GUST AHEARN of Springfield, VA. Beloved wife of John Ahearn. She is survived by her daughter, Tracey, granddaughter, Miranda, mother, Ruthmary. Dear sister of Patrice, Mark, Brian, David, Kevin and Jeffrey. Also survived by nephews and niece Jonathan, Christopher, Joseph and Lauren (Gust). Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday at DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, 5308 Backlick Rd, Springfield. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008, 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5121 Woodland Way, Annandale, VA. Internment private. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association

I learned from her the happiness of been alive and well,
I shared with her my passion of studying echinoderms.
I shared with her hours and hours of laughing and good times.

I will treasure her love forever. I will listen carefully so I can hear her laugh and feel her hugs. I promise to teach future generations in our family about her so they too can know the importance of family. Goodbye my sweet sister in law and dear friend. We will look after John, no worries. Cindy is a great woman, full of energy and happiness; she helps many Mexican students in many different ways...
She is my american stepmom. We'll always miss her laugh, but she's still holding everybody's hands; she will always be pushing me to reach my stars.
