PAUL STEPHEN BARSANTI (Age 45)
Paul Stephen Barsanti, age 45, lived a full and joyful life in Annandale, VA. He passed away at home on November 19, 2010 surrounded by family. He is survived by his loving family: parents, Ardwin and Helen Barsanti; siblings, Joseph Barsanti and wife, Cynthia, Thomas Barsanti and wife, Colleen, Mary Barsanti-Barber and husband, Jeffrey, Anne Barsanti Griffith and husband Michael and John Barsanti and wife Dana Marie Buchanan; 11 nephews and nieces and countless other relatives, friends and co-workers. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Rd., Springfield, VA, 703-549-0074, demainefunerals.com. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 12 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Annandale, VA. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park Fairfax, VA. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to: The ARC of Northern VA or Special Olympics of Northern VA.

We all feel terrible about Paul, he was always such a happy person, he brought smiles to the people who knew him. He's someone we'll never forget, he was a joy to know. There is nothing i could say to make it easier. You were wonderful parents. I never met anyone who had such patience and love. He had a wonderful life. Take care of yourselves.

Paul was such a wonderful and joyous person to be around. He was at most of the various parties Julie attended. We have recently moved out of state to Nebraska and were so sorry to hear of your loss. Dear God,
Paul is our angel that You sent to us to teach us things no one else could;
To show us how to love.
Paul taught us to love everyone.
Paul’s kindness and thoughtfulness toward others was infinite.
Paul showed us that we can be holy by just doing little acts of kindness.
Like a saint, Paul was humble, simple, and kind.
Sometimes, God, You test our love for others by sending people who look different;
Who talk in a way we do not always understand.
Paul showed us his heart each day through his unconditional love for us.
Paul’s purpose in life was to bring us to You to live in Heaven.
Paul followed Your will and I know You have rewarded him with eternal life.
You guided him and comforted him always.
Paul never complained.
He knew this is what You wanted.
You were calling Him home.
Paul left this world in peace with his family around him.
God, you answered my prayer to let Paul die a peaceful death.
I trust in you, God, and I know that You do all things for the good of myself and others.

Paul was such a joy to be around!He would get very excited to see me and tell me the latest happenings.His Best man toast @ John's & Dana's wedding was awesome.My heart goes out to Ardwin & Helen & the rest of the family.I am so sorry for their loss.We have been blessed,however, to have had him in our midst.Please take comfort in knowing his spirit lives on in all of us!

Our deepest sympathy to the Barsanti family. We will cherish the special times we spent with Paul at the beach, and particularly at The Salt Pond pool. Paul had a great sense of humor, was full of life and always praying for the intentions of others. Even though we didn't see him often, when we did, he brought joy to our lives. We will truly miss him.
