Jere L. Richardson, age 72, of Ashburn, VA, formerly of Reston, VA died on February 22, 2011 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital Center. He was born on September 25, 1938 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Forrest and Evelyn Dawson Richardson. Jere was the beloved husband of 46 years of Nancy Richardson, loving and devoted father of Jere Richardson, Jr. and his wife Denice of West Chester, PA, Jennifer Dugan and her husband Terry of Potomac Falls, VA, Elizabeth DiLoreta and her husband John of Ashburn, VA and Fred Richardson and his wife Melissa of Leesburg, VA, brother of Nancy James and her husband Thomas of Springfield, OH, proud grandfather of Justin, Patraic, Keeley, Ashley, Andrew, Kyra, Rachael, Jason, Ryan, Sean, Kieran, Michael and Ella. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, VA, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26 at 10 a.m. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
