Hi, B.A., Sally, Bernice and Ray, Jill and I would like to express our deepest sympathies. I remember how your mom and dad were always so gracious to Danny, Doc, myself and many others at their Silver Spring home watching ball games. I was unaware of his service to our country and his blood that he spilled in World War II protecting our freedoms. God bless your dad and your whole family.

What a guy, always with a smile when we saw him. Our father loved to remind us what a hero he was.

We love you Uncle Barney.

Hi B.A. Sally, Bernice & Ray. Jill and I express our deepest condolences. I remember your dad and mom putting up with Danny, Doc, myself and others many times in their Silver Spring home and later when they moved. He was always so gracious. I did not know of his extraordinary service and blood spilled for our country during World War II. God Bless your dad you guys.

I can remember Barney being a NY Giants fan and him reminiscing of days in the Bronx when they played ball in the street with a half spalding rubber ball (you could make it curve wildly) and a broomstick. He told us Wille Mays would stop now and then to play with the kids in the street. It must have made an impression as Barney always greeted everyone as if he was meeting Willie Mays for the first time.

As the Giant's manager, Leo Durocher, famously said, "nice guys finish last". Well, when you met Barney, Leo's theory was clearly debunked. Rest in peace Uncle Barney
